Let’s not be limited by patriarchy’s gender stereotypes.
Gender stereotypes run very deep. We seem to have difficulty imagining that ‘masculine’ and ‘feminine’ as we know them in patriarchy are not our Natural State. They are just stereotypes.
And not healthy ones either. Patriarchy reckons that to be a ‘real man’, you have to be not things it associates with girls. Elon Musk was quoted as saying empathy is weak. Women should be the opposite extreme. Weak? There’s no in between.
I think a lot of needless suffering results from these limiting images.
This is a big, deep part of our process of changing to our new paradigm.
Patriarchy means rule of fathers. Its system of values are deeply bound up with how it views our gender roles.
How could we all develop our strengths and magnificence according to the Recipe for Life? The values of Mother Nature?
I think that would be more like what we naturally are.
Let’s start from scratch, throw off the stereotypes, and imagine, really try to imagine what we can be as men and women and non-binary and everyone, that we feel is who we more naturally are
We are nature’s children. We are good like nature. The difference between us all maybe would not look so extreme, maybe we could develop quite differently from what we feel the options are now.
In my life, it’s been transformative and empowering to explore, what are the possibilities of what I could be, and what emotionally healthy men could be?

Here is my very rough initial drawing about that. The patriarchal extremes are on extreme ends of the line, a more healthy mix beneath. Elderly, children and mothering are included and valued too. Any of them could be LGBQT. (perhaps I will later come up with a clearer diagram.)
