Vision Meditations

When we think about the future, I hear people say, ‘There’s nothing I can do about climate change. So I’m just getting on with my life.’ Our most difficult problem as a culture and a world is that we have no vision of what we could do and how we could live differently from the way we do now. My vision is what keeps me going through thick and thin, staying in a positive creative state even though I’m well aware it may be too late.

Films and books about possible futures, almost always portray visions of scenarios we don’t want to live in. It’s intended as a warning.

On this site are meditations, or you might call them creative visualisation, to imagine a life we would like to live for our future.

To build a healthy life for our culture, we need first to imagine it, and develop a vision.

The climate emergency means we need to hurry up and find ways to live in a healthy relationship with Mother Nature. The way we live now is making her sick, so she can’t support our life.

Even if the climate emergency was not hanging over us, we could create a more life-supporting happy way to live on this planet than we have now.
