Care for life

Native warrior quote

Overview

This devoted mother bird shows her dedication to mothering. Mothering is the most central part of the caring we all do.

Holding caring for life at the centre will keep all of us strong though the pain that is here and into the future due to climate change and other threats to our sacred mother, our earth.

It’s good for all of us to be treated with care. Mothering involves loving, nurturing: caring for heart and mind, as well as food and shelter. Caring can make us happy and emotionally healthy human beings for the rest of our life. Nature needs it too, especially now.

Care for Life of the heart

The practices here help us envision and experience a taste of a future where caring life is at the heart of all we humans do

1. Developing love

Four Loves

Mother Nature’s Mothering

2. Healing emotional pain

we move towards love when we affirm the life of the heart. miserable emotions are also love, That is the health of the heart, not New Age positive, denying the negative, but embracing it and affirming the negative in a way that brings it along to transformation. Not just to say it’s just fine for me to feel angry, jealous, etc. be life affirming about the miserable emotions, realizing they are love; not pushing them away and saying you have to be positive all the time.
